What We Do
We create more skilled and confident players through modern European technical training and mental mastery practice.
How It Works
The Confident Scorer Academy is a premier, hybrid basketball development system. It is designed specifically for dedicated 5th–12th grade athletes in Southeast Aurora and Parker who are ready to make a massive leap in their game.
Our program goes way beyond standard training. It is built on The 360° Scorer Blueprint, combining elite in-person training with high-level film study, mindset coaching, and weekly remote accountability.
We accelerate your athlete's results using our Four Pillars of Development:
Pillar 1: Elite In-Person Skill Lab – High-level, European-technical training focusing on all offensive aspects of the game from ball handling and footwork, to finishing and shooting. We don't just run drills; we ensure every skill learned translates directly to success in real game play.
Pillar 2: Weekly Film Study – We teach athletes how to truly understand the game. Through weekly live film breakdowns, players learn how to read the floor, anticipate plays, and understand the "why" behind every move to drastically raise their basketball IQ.
Pillar 3: Mindset & Poise – Skills mean nothing without the confidence to use them. We provide mindset mentorship lessons during our in-person training to help athletes stay composed under pressure, handle the inevitable ups and downs of a game, and build an unshakeable court presence.
Pillar 4: At-Home Accountability & Video Breakdowns – Training doesn't stop when your athlete leaves the court. We post two weekly workouts inside our private player community for them to complete at home. Athletes submit video check-ins of their reps, and they receive 1-on-1 online coaching breakdowns of their film. It gives parents peace of mind knowing their child is getting direct, expert feedback on their skills every single week.

Meet Owner and Head Trainer, Marko Zelic
Marko's basketball journey began in Serbia, a country known for its deep love of the game and focus on fundamental skills.Growing up in a highly competitive European system, he learned early on that success comes down to mastering the small details of the sport.
Through consistent hard work, Marko developed into one of his country’s top youth power forwards by the age of 15. This path allowed him to train and compete alongside one of the greatest players of all time, Nikola Jokic. Pushing himself in that elite environment earned Marko a spot in the final top 30 player cut for the Serbian National Team before he moved to the United States to play four years of college basketball.
He founded the Confident Scorer Academy because he noticed too many trainers running youth players through generic drills that never translate to real games. Marko's focus is completely on the offensive side of the ball, building versatile threats who are skilled enough to play any position and score more points for their teams. By blending European technical training with modern skill enhancement, he is able to produce insane game results for his players.
But the most important piece of his system is mindset, because skills mean nothing if an athlete doesn't believe in themselves when they step onto the floor. Marko builds genuine court confidence by giving players mental tools they need use to dominate the court.
The academy only accepts coachable, committed players who are truly ready to put in the effort. Space is limited to ensure every athlete receives the direct, high-level feedback they need to transform their game.
